Lentil Chocolate Pancakes

Zutaten
  

  • 75 g lentils (0,33 cups)
  • 100 ml hot water (3,38 oz)
  • 25 g oats (0,23 cups)
  • 75 ml oat drink (2,54 oz)
  • 2 tbsp baking cocoa
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • vanilla extract
  • chocolate chips
  • 1 pinch of salt

Zubereitung
 

  • Soak 75 g (0,33 cups) of lentils in 100 ml (3,38 oz) of hot water for about 30 minutes until the lentils have absorbed all of the liquid. 
  • Puree the lentils with 75 ml (2,54 oz) of oat drink, 25 g (0,23 cups) of oats, 2 tbsp of baking cocoa, 1 tbsp of agave syrup, 1 tbsp of peanut butter, 1/2 tsp of baking powder, vanilla extract (as desired) and a pinch of salt to form a dough. If the dough is still too bitter, just add a little more sweetness. 
  • Heat some oil or vegan margarine in a pan and add the batter in portions. Place the chocolate chips on the liquid side of the pancakes and fry on both sides. 
  • Serve best with peanut butter and fruits.
